About Amrit

Amrit started his career as a qualified Pharmacist. During a career within Pharmacy spanning over 19 years, Amrit worked in a number of management and leadership roles, culminating in overseeing half of the UK’s Pharmacy and Optical units for Wal-Mart’s UK subsidiary Asda.

Having successfully worked in the healthcare sector, Amrit went on to head up the Engagement team for Asda, before joining The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For, where Amrit has worked with many organizations, at boardroom level, helping them understand and improve their employee engagement.

He has an Advanced Certificate in Leadership and Executive Coaching from the Bristol Business School, and an ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring.  In addition, he is an accredited Walmart AIM Change trainer, a Birkman Assessment accredited consultant, NLP Master Practitioner, and a current candidate for his CIPD Advanced Level Diploma in HRM/HRD.

Amrit is a happily married father of three children and lives in the county of Warwickshire (home to Shakespeare and Warwick Castle). He studied at Liverpool John Moore’s University as a Pharmacist and in his past he has worked as a ‘Special’ Constable Police Officer with Warwickshire Constabulary.

Amrit is a values-led individual who has a passion for developing people, with a particular focus on leadership and management as the gateway to creating passionate employees, leading to better engagement and ultimately better business performance.
